What is BankStatements.co.nz?
Bankstatements.co.nz, provided by Illion, helps customers and their lenders to access and assess bank statements information.
Simple, secure way to provide income and expense information.
You have total control of the process – a link is texted to you, which you access on your own device.
Your internet banking credentials aren’t saved or passed on to anyone and is fully encrypted with 256-bit encryption, secured by 2048-bit keys. This is the same level of encryption that the banks use.
Finance Now only get the information you authorise them to get.
The information provided is summarised allowing the application to be decisioned a lot faster and only transaction details that are required for review are presented to Finance Now.
How does it work?
Either during or after an application has been submitted, we can generate a text message to your mobile phone containing a link to Bankstatements.co.nz.
You access this link, complete a couple of simple steps, and Finance Now receives an extract of your bank statement information.
Is it safe?
The link is sent to your mobile phone, so you have control of the process. You access the tool on your device.
The Bankstatements.co.nz tool doesn’t save your log in details and it uses encrypted security, so once you’ve finished the process, your log in details are removed from the tool.
The link only works once, so if someone tries to use the same link again to try to access your information, they will get an error message saying the link has expired.
Do I have to use this tool?
Yes, we will require a minimum 3 months of bank statements so we can assess your loan application.
