How do I cancel my Finance Now card?

Do I have to activate my Finance Now card?

No. If you choose not to activate your card, you can still use it as your official Finance Now ID card for your next finance purchase. For faster ID verification and processing present your card to any Finance Now or Marble Finance retailer.

How do I activate my card?

Activation is completed online at: www.financenow.co.nz/activate. Have your Finance Now card and mobile phone handy as you'll need it for the activation process.

How do I activate my card if I don't have internet access?

Card activation can only be completed online at www.financenow.co.nz/activate. Connect with friends or family who have internet access to activate your card. Our Customer Services team cannot activate on your behalf over the phone.

Does my Finance Now card expire?

Your expiry date is printed on your card. All cards expire 3 years from date of issue. A new card will be sent to you before your card expires.

My card has expired - how do I get a new card?

Call our Customer Services team free on 0800 FNL CARD (365 2273) and we will issue a new card.

Where can I use my Finance Now card?

You can use your card in New Zealand at any EFTPOS machine or at any ATM displaying the Westpac or SBS Bank logo.You can also use it as official ID at over 1,500 Finance Now and Marble Finance retailers.

How do I make repayments for my Card?

You can make payments by internet banking or visit any Westpac bank branch. Remember to take our bank account number: 03-0931-0358991-00 and use your account number in the reference field. You cannot make payments directly into your Finance Now Card.

Do I have to pay the full balance/How much do I have to repay each month?

A minimum payment of 3% of your balance or $20 is required – whatever amount is greatest.

Can I use my Finance Now card overseas?

No. Finance Now cards can only be used throughout New Zealand but not overseas.

What will my credit limit be?

Your credit limit is assessed based on your current financial situation (existing income and any exposure to debt). Your Card limit will be reassessed at the time of Card activation and will be based on your updated credit position.

How do I increase my card limit? 

Call our Customer Services team free on 0800 FNL CARD (365 2273) and our team will advise if you qualify for an increase.

If I don't activate my card, do I incur fees?

Activating your card is free and fees only apply once you start using your card. Refer to your Disclosure Statement for a full list of fees.

What are the fees/costs of using my card?

Your Finance Now card interest rate is 19.95% p.a. A 6 monthly fee of $19.95 applies on first card transaction. It will be included in your first monthly statement. For EFTPOS transactions less than $20 a $0.25 transaction fee applies. Refer to your Disclosure Statement for a full list of fees.

Can I add an additional Cardholder?  

Finance Now cards are offered to primary account holders only.

When will I receive my pin number for my Card?

Once you have activated your FNL Card online, your PIN number should arrive in the post within 5-8 working days.

How do I find my balance?

Someone has stolen my card. What do I do?

Call our Customer Services team free on 0800 FNL CARD (365 2273) or +64 3 211 1244 if you're calling from overseas and we'll cancel your current card immediately.

I've lost/damaged my card. How do I get a new one?

Call our Customer Services team free on 0800 FNL CARD (365 2273) to have your current card cancelled and a new card will be issued.

My card got declined at an EFTPOS or ATM machine

Your card must be activated to enable you to use it at EFTPOS and ATM machines. Check that your card has not expired and that your purchase is not greater than your card limit.

How do I cancel my Finance Now card?

You can cancel your card at any time. Just have to make sure you have repaid all costs incurred. Call our Customer Services team free on 0800 FNL CARD (365 2273) or from overseas on +64 3 211 1244 to cancel your card.
