Customer Experience team wins national recognition for service excellence

The Finance Now Customer Experience team has been recognised as the best in the financial services sector, winning the Financial Services Support category at the CRM Contact Centre Awards.

The CRM awards have been the benchmark for contact centre excellence in New Zealand for 22 years. To earn recognition, Finance Now team was mystery shopped over five weeks and measured against strict criteria covering everything from product knowledge to how they answer the phone and close conversations.

For Finance Now, the award validates what the team strives to deliver every day: genuine help for Kiwis navigating their finance options.

“This award belongs to our team,” said Tania Dickie, Finance Now GM Personal Lending. “They’re the ones answering the calls, finding solutions, and making sure every customer feels heard. We’ve always believed that when you put genuine care at the centre of what you do, everything else follows.”

As a 100% New Zealand-owned company, Finance Now has always prioritised having real people available to help customers. The team, based across New Zealand, handles thousands of calls each month, helping customers with everything from loan applications to account queries.

Community impact recognised at Financial Services Federation Awards

Finance Now has been recognised for its commitment to New Zealand communities, winning the Equifax Community Impact Award at the Financial Services Federation Awards.

The award, presented at the FSF’s annual ceremony in November 2025, recognises financial services organisations that make a meaningful difference beyond their core business activities.

The judges noted it was a close race among finalists but were impressed with Finance Now’s commitment and connection to their local communities, and the thought that had gone into developing their community initiatives.

This includes running a volunteering programme and supporting organisations such as Auckland City Mission, Conservation New Zealand, I Am Hope, Invercargill Blind and Low Vision Centre, Women’s Refuge, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, and the Invercargill Food Bank.

“Being Kiwi-owned means being part of New Zealand communities,” said Hadyn Halls, Finance Now CEO. “Our team, based right across the country, genuinely cares about the places where they live and work. What really matters is the difference we can make every day.”
